Getting Gc in 3 months after marriage to GC holder

I am a GC holder. I recently went to India and one of my friends told me that he knows someone specific who has a GC in US and he was married in India and his wife was able to get a GC in the US within 3 months.

I never heard of this and I always thought for a GC holder to sponsor and bring his wife to US after marriage in India is a long wait at least 3 years acording to the current dates. For citizens I know it is a lot quicker and maybe 3-4 months only but my friend in India insisted his colleague is not a citizen in US but onyl a GC holder.

Is there something new that has been introduced for GC holders like for citizens so that a GC holder who goes to marry in India can get his wife/spouse to the US with a GC in 3-4 months?

I do not think your friend's info is correct...that privilege is still for USCs and in the pilot program only...which is not even available nation wide yet!

You can ask your friend about his friend who got it GC in three months through a GC holder that how he did it.

The best way is to get in touch with the guy himself rather than letting the info travel from one person to another then another resulting in a totally changed piece of news altogether.
