Getting Driving License when I485 pending

Hi
Mysituation Is.. H4 Visa Expired , I485 Pending,ead Has Been Applied
So Will I Face Any Problem If I Go To Dmv For A Written Test Or I May Need To Wait Untill I Get My Ead. I Have My Mass Id,i Had Got The Ssn Denial Letter That Time ,so Will They Ask Me To Get The Denial Letter Again .anybody Who Had Come Across Such A Situation,plz Reply.

DMV rules vary state to state. I am in California and here they issue DL if you show them your I485 receipt. You might want to try with your I485 receipt.

Which state are you located at.
I dont think you will be able to get a drivers license in New Jersey till you get your EAD renewed. You might have to wait for the EAD to come through.

In NJ they dont really insist on SSN card but you need 3 forms of ids (state id, passport, credit /debit card) along with utility bills or mails from government agencies in your name for address proof.
