getting a visa to usa from ireland

i am looking for information on how my friend in ireland could get a working visa to obtain employment here and where would she go to apply? Any info would be helpful for i have no idea how to do any of it. thanks

She will need probably an H1B visa to work here. She first needs to get a job in the US. THe US employer then files paperwork with the INS and once it is approved, your friend can apply for a H1B visa at the nearest US consulate. Allow 1-3 months for the entire process.
H1B visas allow one to work in the US for upto 3 years and at that time it can be renewed for another 3 years. H1B visas require a bachelor's degree minimum and relevant work experience. H1B visas are mostly issued for information technology and other hi-tech prefessionals.
