I got naturalized on Sept 18, but I had to travel the next day to Canada for a short term contract until the end of the year. I didn't have time to apply or get a US passport, so I traveled with my previous passport (peruvian) and work permit from Canada and my US naturalization certificate. My contract might extend beyond January (passport are mandatory to cross between Canada and US after jan. 2007), so Can I go to the US consulate in Canada and get a US passport? I am a citizen right? They should issue a passport to citizens abroad.
