you have the following choices, you either exchange your NY driver\'s license with an Ontarion Driver\'s license, in that case, your NY license will be sent back to teh US, or, alternatively, you can start from scratch by doing the written test, once you pass the written test, you get a G2 license that allows you to drive accompanied by somebody, you have to wait one year before you do the road test that if passed awards you a G1 license that allows you to drive unaccompanied by an adult, but, with zero alcohol in your blood, then, you wait to do the final road teast that if passed awards you a full G license, good luck
