Getting a GC indirectly from my citizen brother

My US citizen brother is 21+ .. he will petition a green card for my mother, I know that it takes a couple of months to be processed .. but can my mom petition a green card for me after she receives hers since I'm under 21 years ? and is there a quota time for this situation or should it take a couple of months also ? thanks in advance

YOur mother can petition for you if you are single. You have to wait in a quota line.

For unmarried under-21 children of permanent residents there is a wait of approx. 3 years.
