German Immigration Regulations???

I got the following change in rule from a friend.

Please be informed that as per the German Immigration Regulations :

Any one returning from the US with an expired visa cannot undertake travel via Frankfurt.

Hence if your US visas have expired and you are traveling back to India, you would be required to book your tickets through Amsterdam/London/Singapore.

You can travel, but you've to get a transit visa

In May 2003 I travelled by Lufthansa to India - I had AP and an expired H1B. But I had to get a transit visa to travel via Frankfurt.
