I would like to know some answers from veterans. I am sort of new to this group. My 140 was approved from texas and I have applied for 485 in nebraska.
1. How long can I expect Receipt and how long for EAD ? The tracker seems to say just over a month but the posts indicate more than 2 months. which one is true ? Did they start issuing them faster now ?
2. I did not apply for my wife's EAD since the lawyer was asking for unreasonable amount and anyway she does not have a job. If I want to apply for it, what docs do I need now. Will I be getting a receipt for her 485 or will it be my 485 receipt with her application ?
3. What are the different steps from now on ? I know FP and then passport stamping. When do they issue the actual card ?
