GCMaster ?

Not yet!!

Hillibilly,

Nothing new on my wifes case yet...However I've spoken to an IIO couple of days back. She said wait for another 30-45 days. I asked her if I needed to send any other documents etc..she said nothing is required at this point..just wait and call back if you haven't heard anything in the next 30-45 days.

Have you spoken to any IIO?? Please post the progress.

Regards,

GCMaster,

I did speak to an IIO and she refused to give me any details (reg. my wife's case) because of the privacy law. All she said was that the case is assigned to the same officer and it will be approved soon, call later, blah blah blah.

One question. LIN# of you and your wife, are they consecutive? Our numbers are not, mine ends with 67 and her ends with 99. I don't know if that's the reason the applications were separated.

That's all from me. Thinking of talking to my lawyer and have him send a letter. Will it work? Thanks and regards,

Hillbilly

Hillbilly,

Even our LIN nos are not consecutive. Mine ends with 03 and my wife's ends with 43.
BTW is your and your wife's last name different...?
We have different last names.....that may be a reason for the delay.

Last name issue

GCMaster,

Nevertheless I and my wife were using same last names for our I-485s, my wife didn't receive her Approval Notice yet even I already got mine. So I think using same last names for I-485s is not the main reason of spouse's approval delay.

The LIN numbers of mine and my wife are not consecutive, and the difference between the two numbers is 42.
