GC trying for citizenship

Hi,

My Wife has a GC with her since June 02. She used to stay only for about 15 days in a year earlier in US.
But now since May 05, she has been staying in US continuously. She has a gap of 3.5 months from Nov05 to March 06.

Can anyone advise what are the clauses and when can she apply for her citizenship?

If she got her GC thru marriage, and she is still married to the same person, then she can apply for citizenship in Feb-March 2008, if got it some other way, then she can apply in Feb-March 2010.

Yes, she got her GC thru a family relative.
I had heard you need to have spend 4 years in US contiuously without a max of 6 months break. Is that correct?

It's 5 years minus 90 days.
