GC through Marriage

My fiancé just became a US Citizen through naturalization, and we will get married at the end of the month. I am currently on a F-1 visa, and I will graduate in Dec. I wonder if it is ok for me to apply for GC right after we got married. Or should I wait for a while before applying for GC? Thanks.
