GC stamping without approval notice possible?

Hi All,

I need to travel due to family emergency. I talked to IIO and confirmed that case is approved. I am still waiting for notice. Shall I walk-in to local INS office and get stamping? Has any one done that? any past experience/advice? I appreciate your help.

I believe you can go and do it. I know someone who did that and that worked out fine.

I read some where when the primary applicant was approved and spouse not but she accompained the primary applicant and the officer looked her WAC# and did stamp it.

Try it no harm, but to get in you to go early since u dont have appointment.
