GC Stamping Santa Ana instead Los Angeles

Has anybody recently gone to Santa Ana for GC Stamping? My i-485 employed based WAC02092XXX got approved on June 28 2004. Approval notice has Los Angeles location between 6 to 12.00 AM. I live in orange county. Can we go to Santa Ana Center? Do we need to take infopass ticket?

Same scenario

I guess Iam in the same scenario as yours. I live in orange county and this approval tells me to go to LA. I was also wondering whether we can go to Santa Ana. I really would appreciate if some one has some idea about this.

Any one who has stamped in Santa Ana please post.
 
What I Found

I talked to my lawyer they said as I expected: Go to the location in your notice.

I talked to USCIS and this time to a nice rep: She cross checked and told that Santa Ana doesn't do the ADIT stamping and only LA does.

So I guess LA it is unless some body posts their experience otherwise.
 
Finally got it stamped

Got a surprise early appt. at LA for stamping so myself and my wife went for the stamping which was scheduled at 10:30 am. The guard let us at 10:20 and remember do not take camera cell phone(cell phones are allowed but not camera one, I got the camera one so the guard told me to go back and keep it in the car, which took another 10 minutes of running around). Inside the building we got a token # which was 100 no.s behing the running token.

After a long long wait, close to 2.5 hrs they called our number and got the details from us and gave us the stamping after 10 minutes.

It was Good to hear the "Welcome to America, congratulations" wordings. They said the card will be mailed in 6 months or so.
