GC Stamping in Passport

My wife & I got our I-485 approved on the 5th of September. We are planning to go for stamping this week. I wanted to know if the fols at BCIS ask for the IT returns & W-2 docs or should the recent employment letter & pay stubs along with whatever they mentioned(I-94, Passport,Photos) suffice?

Additionally, If anyone got stamped in Newark how long does it take and did you encounter any difficulties ?
 
No, IT returns , Employment letter and W-2 docs are not reqd.

Take the following with you
I-94 (all if you have changed companies/extended visa etc.)
Passport
Photos ( 2 if you have a valid passport 3 if you don't)
EAD card
AP docs.

Be very sure that the photos meet ADIT standards (white background etc.)

Any experience with kids stamping? I need a welcome notice for my son. It says you will receive his card within 3 weeks. Do I need his stamping?

Pl. provide me some info.

Newark Experience

look to spend 2 hrs from start to finish at Newark. I got there at the suggested day, wednesday at 11am. And got out into my car by 2pm. I also took care of my social security card amendment (removal of 'authorized to work by ins' blurb) -- social security office is on same floor. It took me three hours I also had lunch there. So, if you are there just for stamping you'd be done within 2 hrs.

Child Stamping at Newark:
You'd stamp your son's passport for the same reason as you'd stamp your own -- for travel and what not. They'll not stamp his/her passport unless the child is present. I did not take my son.
