Hi,
I got my H1B on november 2003 and moved to the US and start working with my company on febraury 2004.Recently, I got married and my wife is now in the US with a H4-visa. My company has decided to sponsor me for a GC. I filed up the questionnaire the lwayer send to me through the company. My questions are:
1- Could my wife be included in the process of my GC?
2- What I have to do to avoid to be a GC holder and have to struggle again because my wife could be out of status because of my status that would have change in the meantime?
3- I heard that if you are citizen of a country which does not have more 50k immigrants in the US, your application will be processed faster is it true?
4- How long it could take from the time the lawyer will file the application to obtain a labor certification? and how long then for the remained process?
5-What I have to expect to file after the questionnaire that I filed up so far?
Thanks in advance for your anwers,
Greg.
