The 2 yrs on my temp GC comes up in Feb 2008. I was planning on traveling for a couple of months around that time. If I send my papers in 3 months (90 days) before the expiration date, how long does it usually take for the permanent GC to come through? Is there a travel document that they can send which will allow me to travel if the GC gets delayed?
