your opinion regarding this is apprieciated.
My brother came to USA (Works with TCS, New Jersy) on L1 visa. He completed 5 ½ years in USA on L1 visa. So he is left with 1 ½ year, since L1 is valid for 7 years.
Since his company don't sponsor GC. He was thinking that can he still work with L1 sponsor and apply for GC through a different US company.
For applying GC, does he have to apply H1 also (He will not be working with GC company when he applied, once he gets GC , he will start working to that company).
What is your opinion in this.
