GC process (Comapny Merger or Bought Out)

Scenario: I am working on Company A and they filed green card for me. And we are before I485 stage.
All by the sudden company B buys out company A or they Merge. I am now employed with Company B.

Question: What will happen to my GC process? Does it have to be restarted?
