I just recently received my GC plastic card after my PP stamping. It's been one month sice my 485 is approved. If send resignation now, Can Employer Revoke my GC?

Just to be on safe side, you might want to stay with the employer for 6 months. I read in the forum that while the chance is slim, one's employer can still have his/her GC revoked..

No - they can't. Basically looking at the time that it takes to get a GC, the arguement of 'intent' means jack. If you are getting a better opportunity, go ahead. Quit worrying - there are a whole section of employers who profit from wienies who are too scared for nothing.

Do not quit job now !

It would be a mistake to quit job soon
after approval, all lawyers agree upon that.

Why ?
The green card approval presumes that
you have a permanent job with the
employer who filed the petition.
That means, you AND employer
must have had the intent of a permanent
employment AFTER GREEN CARD APPROVAL.

If you quit, BCIS may revoke
your green card, because of fraudulent intent
to work for another employer after getting your
green card.
If your employer fires you, it's also bad, but
somewhat less because you did not have
the intent to leave.

This told, what is "permanent" employment ?
Well, it is assumed that if you quit after
one year, you are safe.
After 6 months ? May be.

After this long wait for the green card, you may
wish to ask a lawyer before you quit your job.
It's not worse taking the risk.

Bottom line is, if you decide to leave, do so on good terms. USCIS is not going to check your employment history. The revocation of GS only happens, I suppose, if the employer decides to take action against you.. That is, don't burn the bridge!

Risky

No guarantees, even if you quit job in good
terms with employer. Problem is not
with employer, usually they do nothing
because it is not necessary:

If you are lucky and BCIS does not look into it right now,
when you apply for US citizenship in
5 years (or 3), they will dig through your "history".
If they see that you did quit your job
just after GC, then it might become a problem.
There has been cases like that, so ....
Better be safe than sorry.
Talk to a lawyer, before doing it, it's the best.

And I agree that the system is
modern slavery, but why pay the bill
at the end ? Be patient, and
everything will be fine.

Good luck :)
