GC Not Received

Dear Gurus,

My 485 application was pending NC since April 2005. I contacted congressman, senator which turned out to be futile. I also took one infopass appointment in May 2006. They said same stuff 'Pending FBI NC'. My LUD changed on Nov 2006 and case status changed to 'Document Other than CARD manufactured and mailed'. This turned out to be a response from USICS to inquiry.

In the meanwhile I moved out of state and reported change of address by AR-11. My case status was never updated since then. Last month I applied for EAD renewal and received EAD card. Yesterday I again called USCIS. The rep said my case is approved and GC was mailed 3 weeks ago. I have not received Welcome Notice or GC. I also talked to my attorney, he has also not received approval notice or any other communication.

Could the rep be wrong? Would they fail to change case status after GC approval? What should I do? Please advise. Thanks.

Does your I485 still show the message - 'Document Other than CARD manufactured and mailed'? If so, don't trust the reps...they always mistake this message for approval....

When NC is not cleared There is no way you r case can get approved. Don't belive these reps.
