GC needs to backdated not sure

Guys,

Need some help here.

Asylum approved in 2004, applied I485 2005, received green card 2007.

Now is my GC suppose to be backdated to 2005 or not. If yes am I still eligible to apply for citizenship in 2010?

Should be backdated from the gc approval date not apply date. When was your gc approved?

It was approved in 07 and I see it was backdated to 06.

Damn got to wait for 1 year 10 months.
