GC & Marriage.

My 485 will be approved anytime soon and I am not married yet. This should be fairly common. I had some questions on marriage.

Assuming 485 gets approved.

1. What are the options if at all to get married to someone from India?
2. What kind of visas are OK?? I have read H1/L1 are OK. What about F1? This is for subsequently filing for AOS.

I am sure this must be well researched. Are there previous threads I can refer to or some site (please send me a specific link if you can).

F-1 is not issued to people with intent to immigrate.
Let her have a F-1 first and then marry to get around.
(I don't know this constituite a fruad or not, but it seems
amny do this without any problem later)
 
It’s unlikely that anyone married to a GC holder will get an F1 since that visa requires a non-immigration intent. The fastest way would be for your spouse to come on an H1 if he/she is eligible and can find a sponsoring employer.

If a GC holder sponsors a spouse it could (will) take years.
