After 5 years struggle, long GC journey was finally over, thanks to all who have been providing a lot of valuable information in this forum.
Here are my steps of the journey:
1). EB3 Concurrent from China.
2). L.C. PD in Nov. 2001.
3). I-140/I-485 RD in Oct. 2003.
4). 1st fingerprint (code 3?) in Nov 2003.
5). I-140 Approved in Jan. 2004.
6). I-485 cases transferred to LA local office in Aug. 2004.
7). Interview date on Jul 13, 2005, just 13 days after Visa unavailable.
8). PD became current on Sep 01, 2006 and requested our FP notices from LA local office.
9). 2nd fingerprint (code 1) taken on Sep 05, 2006.
10). I-485 Approved and passport stamped on Sep 15, 2006 in LA local office.
11). 1st LUD on Sep 29, 2006: "On September 28, 2006, your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received here for processing. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete…"
12). 2nd LUD on Oct 01, 2006: "On September 30, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready…"
13). 3rd LUD on Oct 03, 2006: "This case has been approved. On October 3, 2006, an approval notice was mailed..."
14). Real GC received on Oct 04, 2006.
