GC Interview in San Francisco!!!

Dear People,

We applied concurrently for AOS(married to US citizen-my baby ) in January 29, 2007 and I have an interview coming up on April 13, 2007!!! So happy!!!

Here is a question. If the interview will go successfully the officer will stamp on the passport. Does it mean that I can travel outside of US with my passport not having my GC in hand?

Please inform me if you can. Thanks!!
 
IF you have AP...

...you can travel. I don't think they are stamping the passports these days since the gap between approval and GC arrivel in mail is short ( 2-3 weeks). I have read posts here where people asked for a stamp (551) but the officer refused with the above reason. TRy it...no harm
