GC I90 for legal name change court order

I am a permanent resident, got my GC last year, I am planning on filing for a legal name change through a court order, and then subsequently replacing my GC with the I90 form. Has anyone else do this before? How long did it take for the new GC to come in the mail? Also, in the period before the GC is received, is the old GC, your court order, and your I90 receipt sufficient proof for permanent residence under your new name? Thanks
