Hello,
I need some help on this situation. I have received my GC couple of months and I am still working for my sponsored employer. I am planning to be with this employer for another 4 months and so I am still working for the same client thorough the same employer like before.

Now, I have been asked by a different recruiter for a position that requires me to work with them on W2. I am not sure if I can do this.
I would appreciate if someone can tell me the possible issues with it and how to proceed on this.
Does this mean violating the intent to continue with the sponsoring employer?
And My contract with the sponsoring employer doesn't say anything about not working for others except for their clients.

Thanks in advance

You can work for as many additional employers as you want, provided your employment contract with your first employer allows that.
Generally, employers want that their employees are fresh and productive, which is not quite possible if they "moonlight." Furthermore, employers don't like it if people would start working for their competitors on the side.
That's why lots of employers put clauses in their employment contracts that prohibits taking up additional jobs unless it is approved by management.
So, check your employment contract.

Joe, i guess he is referring to leaving the current employer and working for some one else on W2...Not working for additional employers on the side.
