Hello friends, please help - I am sure this is a common problem but I couldn't find a quick solution from the past postings:
Background: I am a GC Holder (got this in May 2004). I'm thinking of marrying a B2 Holder (currently in the US). I am not sure about the following:
1. If I do get married to her in the US, can I file for her I-130 & I-485 and just have her wait in this country until her I-485 is approved? Will that be legal (will she be in status after her I-94 runs out?)
2. Will her travel be affected? If she is required to stay in this country till her I-485 is approved, would she be eligible to apply for Advance Parole?
3. Will her work plans be affected? Can she apply for EAD without any problems?
