Hi,
Im an US Resident but i have never lived in US cause ive been studying in my native country with a reentry permit (Dom. Rep.), now i want to marry my boyfriend who has a B2 visa (Temporary visitor for pleasure) to go live to US, now that we both graduated so we can do a specialty (Doctors). The Qs are:
is it better 4 us to get married in US?
will it accelerate the process of him becoming permanent resident?
what docs should i bring to get married over there?
can he stay in US once ive summitted the docs in INS?
or he has to go back and wait until the process is completly finished?
what should we do?

please some advice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
someone told me to do the paperwork in other state than Florida (very slow process) is it true?

Thanks in advance.... ;)

Since you are a GC holder, it will take him about 5-6 years to get his GC. Mean time he won't be able to stay here unless he maintain his own status. Once you become a Citizen then the process is very fast. So it doesn't matter where you guys get married.
