GC from marrying an Indian girl with GC

Hi,

If an Indian guy with 3 years on h1-B with a good job marries an
indian Girl in the US with a GC, how can the guy obtain a GC ?

What are the steps involved and how long does it take ?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

GC holder can file for Relative Petion I-130 and biographic form (do not remember the form no. I think it is 325). to the INS. There is a long wait of about 6-7 years before your GC gets approved. But after 3 year you can apply for "V" visa along with this you can apply for EAD card. Or your GC holder can become a citizen and then apply both I-130 & I-485 together.
