I am a physical therapist and interested to know what procedures is involved in getting the Green Card process started. Do I have go through Labor certification, followed up with I-140 and I485 or is it possible to by-pass Labor certification for physical therapists?

Any valid input in this regard is highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

no LC needed

If you're a physical therapist, licensed to practice in any state and are in possession of a visa screen certificate... you get one from NBCOT or NBCPT or something like that... after passing TOEFL and TSE, then ...

you can file i-140, i-485 simultaneously... under the i-140 check on the box for schedule A occupations instead of labor cert.... not sure if it's A-I or A-II, check on a lawyer...

you can also get EAD if you want by filing i-765....

check all this with a lawyer since i'm not one and these are just my thoughts and not a legal opinion.
