As a US Citizen, can I file the petition I130 for my parents' GC in New Delhi India? Many people have used this direct consular filing procedure for their spouses.
Has anyone done it for their parents? Do you (the sponsor) need to have a temporary resident in India to use this procedure?
The whole process seems to go much faster if you are able to file the form I130 directly at the foriegn consulate.
