My son arrived in USA to join his father who has an asylum status. At this time (2000) hi was 19 years old (under 21.)
He applied for adjustment in 2001 (still under 21). Is he going to have a problem with adjustment (GC) because right now he is 24 years old?
Do we need to do some paper work to insure that he will be approving for adjustment.
 
You will not have any problem with this.

Once upon a time this was an issue which required you to submit a new asylum application. But under a law Congress passed in 2002 you are fine.
