GC finally approved 05/13/05

Have been a silent follower of this forum and today my gc got approved and thought I'd like to share my happiness with all you nice guys/gals here

LC priority date - 05/2002
I-140/I-485/EAD/AP - RD - 05/2004
1st EAD - AD 06/2004
I-140 - RFE (edu eval) 07/2004
I-140 - AD 08/2004
AP - AD 07/2004
I-485 - FP done 03/2005 (LUD changed next day but no message change at all after that) (Code 3)
2nd EAD - RD 03/2005
2nd AP - RD 03/2005
2nd EAD - AD 05/2005
I-485 - Approval email recvd today and message changed to "Case has been approved and card mailed..."

Waiting for the card now.
Good luck to all the people still in waiting. It is quite a wait but have faith - your approval will come someday.

No LUD change after FP?

Hi GCForumFan,

Did you now have a LUD changes after your FP message? What was the last LUD change message? Was that the only LUD you had before your 485 was approved?

Are you from one of the retrogression affected countries? Did you open any status enquiry prior to getting approved.

My PD also became current from May 1st and I opened an enquiry towards end of April since my RD is behind VSC processing dates. Hope something happens soon with my case.

Did you now have a LUD changes after your FP message? What was the last LUD change message? Was that the only LUD you had before your 485 was approved?

No message change after FP, status was still the same old application has been received initial message(there was only one LUD next day after FP). Message changed only with 'Case has been approved..' message.

Thanks Sailprao. Yes I am from one of the retrogression affected countries. No - I did not open any status enquiry - the automated message says to call them if 60 days had passed after last notification so I just waited. Your dates look very similar to mine so you will probably get approved soon (people who applied with receipt dates of Oct 2004 are getting approved faster than May 2004 dont know how/why but that is the way it works so be patient).

Your dates look very similar to mine so you probably will get approved soon. Funny how people with Oct 2004 RD are getting approved sooner than May 2004. Just the way the system works so be patient.
