Hi All,
My GC-Labor is rejected. i have talked with one Attorny and am told that one of the options that I have is as
follows :-
1. I have 50 days to go before my FIVE years are completed on H-1.
If some company (consulting/contracting) can file for H-1 to H-1
transfer as well as GC-labor on or before sept-30, 2003, then at the end
of 6 years if the GC processing through that consulting company is going
smoothly, my current employer can extend my h-1 beyond 6 years as per the law. Right now
my current employer can't file new GC as it has stopped doing that since last 2+ years
as well as they can't file GC for me for atleast 6 more months as my
labor is rejected.
Request to you all :- If you know of some consulting company who is
willing to file BOTH h-1 transfer as well as GC in parallel (it can be
done as per Sun's attorny) on or before sept-30, that will help me I
guess on a temporary basis.
The deal is I am not switching my employer. I don't have legal
obligation to join the consulting company (confirmed with my attorny). I
have to legally join it ONLY when my GC through that consulting firm is
completed.
