Hello,
I am getting married on Second week of JUne 2005 to a USC. MY wife recently resigned her job to move to the state where I currently live. She doesn't have a job now. She was working Full time for the past three years until May 2005. I am ready to file my applications (I 130, I485, G325A, I693) except Affidavit of Support. Since she doesn't have a job right now, I am afraid that she can't sign the Affidavit of Support. Is my belief true? or can I still file it without Affidavit of Support or use the Pay stubs, Federal Tax Filings,.... Please advise...

Hi there,
It is my understanding that your wife WILL have to file an affidavit of support for you regardless of whether she meets the minimum poverty requirements or not. What you do have to do is get a joint sponsor to file a G325 along with your wife's G325.
You can get additional info at the following link:

Please note that I am not a lawyer!!

Good luck

You mean he has to file I864A with her I864 right? No G325.
