GC based on Citizen Spouse - NYC

I have recently become a citizen, and wish to sponsor my wife for a GC. Has anyone gone thru this process recently in New York city and can you give me a sense of timing / process ?

I have been waiting for 2 years in NYC for interview and there still is no action. I suggest you to go Baltimore, find a friend there then marry and use his/her address for your papers. In nyc nowadays it takes 30 + months.
