Interview lady officer (Lombardo) is very cooperative and she asked general questions like what is your middle name, where you have born? . Whether passport is expired or not? She stamped in our passports page no: 13.

I thank this forum for excellent info as well as american gujju, sensible etc.. for their excellent feedback in starting this Baltimore forum.

I thank Rajiv Khanna for his extra ordinary abilities in solving ticklish issues during Labor petiion and thank my colleaques (Jay, Raj, Phani for their excellent support in all stages of GC process).

Good luck to ALL !!! (Present, Future Baltimore Candidates)

thanks

Here is our experience of Green Card interview at Baltimore. It's successful!

The husband is the primary applicant. no children. Took the lawyer with us. The officer's number is E. He was very nice.

First, he asked us to show IDs: passports, driver's licenses, H1 visa and EAD ... He asked why the wife's drive's license is NJ's. We explained that the wife had a job in NJ, and her car was NJ registered and insured, which required she have a NJ license... Then he asked how long we had been married and how long we'd lived together ... we answered and showed him the marriage certificate but he said "all right" without looking at it.

He took away H1 visa, EAD and I-94, from both of us.

He asked the lawyer whether our birth certificates were in the folders. After hearing "yes" he didn't further exam it.

He took the husband's employment letter and last 3 paystubs (photocopies). After the husband said it was his first job and the only one up to now, he didn't ask for other documents, nothing from the wife.

Then he did our fingerprints and stamped our passports.

We couldn't believe it was so simple since we brought with us four folders of documents to show him!

Wish all of you good luck!
