I have been a silent member of this forum for long. I am indeed indebted to all who have contributed to the discussions and kept the flame of imminent GC alive. I have struggled for the last five plus years to get mine. Here are my details:
EB2 India NC not cleared! PD March 31 2003 RD June 15 2007 RD July 6 2007.
The IO was quite rude when I spoke the last time. She told me that I have to wait till Feb 2009 before FBI clears my case and I can expect a GC, provided visa numbers are available. That was on last Thursday. On the following Monday 5th May 2008 I received the approval mails! My wife is still to be approved though, as a derivative.
I had also changed jobs on Monday May 5th 2008 (after working in my old firm as a GC slave for nearly six years.) with a 25% raise in salary and I was worrying about AC21, EAD renewal and AP application...et al. Suddenly this unheralded nirvana. May the laws of probability be kind to you all who are still awaiting your golden moments. My best wishes are with you all.
