My GC was approved on March 9 2004. I am currently in India and will be leaving today March 11 to the US. What documents do I need? Would there be any problems at the port of Entry
 
Congrats SantoGC on your approval,

One of my friend got approved while he was in India. He returned to USA recently without any problems. He was asked at port of entry that does he have any back-up plans as his H1 visa is expiring in a month. He said simple yes. He didn't even mentioned that his GC got approved.

FP1: Jun 19th 2002
FP2: Nov 20th 2003
AP2 RD: Oct 3 2003
AP2 AD: Feb 9th 2004
EAD3 RD: Jan 25th 2004

GC AD: Mar 9th 2004

I am not working for the sponsering company. My GC process is based on a future employement basis.

I have 2 questions: 1) Will the approval notice contain the date the passport needs to be stamped.
2) Will there be an interview for passport stamping.

- Can go on any date, but look at the procedure at the local center
- No interview.
