I am on L1 visa and applied for GC in March 2005 as Concurrent Filing of I-140-/485.
Me as a primary applicant and my wife being dependent on me .Both of us got our EAD and Advance Payrole on 18-Apr-2005. My wife is not working(house wife).
I have got my Green Card(GC) in Sep. 2005, but due to some Request For Additional Evidence in my wife's medical she had to go through medical exam again in December 2005, Till now she has not recieved her GC or I-485 approval. And as per the lawyer it will take long time now to get GC because of Impact of Retrogression.
My question is if I change my job now, as I have got already my GC, can my present employer stop GC processing for my wife. My client is offering me very good position from 1st of April 2006. And after March 2006 there is not any legal aggrement between my employer and client which restricts from job change. My only question is "Can my current employer STOP GC processing of my wife." Is it safe to leave my Employer or still i have to work with current employer untill my wife's GC is approved?
Any Suggestions would be greatly appreciated ?
