GC Approved. Concurrently filed in July 2006

I have been meaning to post my information on this forum for a while but never got to it (I sincerely apologize for not doing this earlier). I noticed that quite a few people were stuck in namecheck after filing I-485 and I expected the same.

I even applied for EAD and AP on 02/06/2007 as I thought it might take atleast another year. But out of the blue the gc got approved.

Regarding my LC substitution - I have been working in the same company for more than 7 years. One of my collegues quit the company sometime ago and his LC cleared after that. The company decided to use it for me since my LC was not going anywhere and it was the correct match. I have always maintained my H1-B status correctly.

Many thanks to the active users on this forum whose posts depressed and elated me at times but always indicated that there was hope.

incorrect priority date

Hi Aribac,

I did not get older priority date on my I-140. what did you do to correct your priority date?

Could you please elaborate. My lawyer sent a change request but we did not hear back anything.
