GC Approval without job???

It has been over 6 months since I filed the 485. Have EAD.
If I get laid off and cannot find a job, and get GC approval wihtout any RFE's is it considered a valid approval?

I understand it may be a problem at the time of applying for Citizenship, but even if it is, is the Green Card itself valid?

U are thinking too much ..
Get u'r GC first, It might take couple years.. Then think about Citizenship

I am not worried about citizenship at all right now...my worry is whether the Green Card is considered legitimate if you get approval while being unemployed.
