GC application submission deadlines?

Is there a deadline for applications for family-based GC each year?
Sorry, I couldn't find this information online. I found that there is a yearly quota of GCs issued, so I reckon there must be some date by which an application must be submitted to be considered that given year?

There is no deadline. In each category, there is a queue of people waiting for visa numbers to become available, which depending on the category and country of birth can be anywhere from 1 to 20+ years. The sooner the petition is filed, the sooner a visa number will be available.
