Hello,
I have a friend who won GC in lottery this year. He has always been in status (student F1) and at the beginning got the authorization from INS to work outside of campus, somehow. But his last job is not exactly on INS list, I mean he never really asked this time. He does his taxes every year and pay them all, a lot actually. Now when he files his GC application, does he have to mention it, will it hurt him? What should he do? He heard from other people that they didn't put down anything and got away with it. It would be a real shame for him to be disqualified... He is the best person I know. Thanks for any advice.
