GC and change of jobs

This has been discussed many many times here. I searched the site and found drastically different answers. Some say one can leave the employer on the day you get the GC, others say you are running a high risk of being charged with immigration fraud. I recently got my stamp and though I am not planning to quit right away, I still wonder what exactly are my rights, if any.

Another thing is address change. Do you have to inform INS in writing every single time you move? I found a provision that sais you do, but the wording is oh sooo difficult to understand... Any thoughts on all this? Thanks!

Post GC confusion

There are conflicting posts on when one can leave employer who sposored for GC but my guess is 4-5 months is safe period in this economy.
One can always argue to INS that employer sacked and if you have good relation with employer you can ask him to give a relieve letter instead of you giving him resignation letter.

REST is all speculation about this thing...
