My lawyer told me that I can begin applying for the green card during serving the two y. home residency requirement?

You know that processing the green card takes many years. So, by the time I will have the consular interview , I would have served thetwo years.

Is this true??? Please, respond if you really know.

Yes that is true. Ask the details from your lawyer. If someone is willing to hire you after two years of HRR and is willing to start the process now then it can be done.

not all the green card applications need "someone is willing to hire you ". isn't right?
