Gas Station - Ead

Hi ,

I am currently on my EAD with I-485 in process. I am primary and my spouse is also on EAD and currently not working anywhere. In this stituation , can my spouse open and indian restaurant or a gas station in our area ? if so who should i contact for further details , both legally and in other aspects.
Please let me know.

Dependants with EAD can own or work in any kind of business that is permitted for green card holders. Only the main applicant should work in the category under which LC and green card were filed. Dependants with EAD have no such restrictions.
