Gap in work, could this be out of status for I-485

There was a gap from one job to another for about 6 weeks. But H1 from company A to B was continuous. On paper it is continuous but on payroll it is not continuous. This is about 3 years ago. Could this be
a problem in I-485? I have not mentioned in the application to show that there was a gap. Since this was before AC 21 can this be considered as
out of status? Does INS have anyway to find out there was a gap in H1?

I dont think soo .. Reason, if they check each an every thing,
that will take for ever and as long as H1 is continuous you are fine
.. I also heard that any one can be out of status for 6 months..
Did you mailed the application ??
 
Hopefully today, if not early next week,

my lawyer sounded like he would do yesterday, but that was less likely. how about yours?

Do they go by SS# and check if someone was on the payroll continuously? Just concerned, may be too much. Or any other way?
 
I am still waiting for my BC AFF. from India..

Hopefully on Monday...I donno when I will get my Emp. Letter
