Hello, can anyone help? there must be a way to stay in the US with an approved I-140 awaiting a visa number - EB3 from "all other" - current backlog August 2002. Both my husband and I are here and working until the expiration of our J1/J2 visas. Although my husbands employer is offering an H1b application for FY2008, my employer has sponsored me for a green card -I would like a back up to the H1B visa in case it is declined - could we be eligible to "extend our stay"?, transfer to a B visa?? Thanks to anyone that can offer advise.
