No surpise ...
Its not at all surpising to see the contents of this report. The USCIS is probably one of the worst govt agencies in existence today. What makes it worse is that they are rarely taken to task because there is no political will to do so. Inept agencies such as FEMA face scrutiny because their failures are highly visible. Most of the USCIS mess is totally invisible to most people and they continue to rot and get worse. Not to say that they have't tried to improve. The problem is that they always improve certain things at the cost of other things. In the end a whole new set of problems show up. The system is broken and there is no short term fix. These reports will not change anything.

I do not see any resolution in the short term. If a favorable bill is passed, it will provide short term relief. All we can do is participate in IV and support pro-immigration measures. We can start looking at alternatives and do what we can to better our lives. Nothing more can be done at this point.
